It’s us against the world… We fight the good fight. In the big bad city that is New York, it’s all Us V Them. The Manhattanites V the Brooklynites. The Uptowners V the Downtowners. Rock and Roll V Hip Hop. Hipsters V Frat Faces. It’s a battle to the brutal end, and nobody is giving up. We all fight for our right to party here, live here, work here and stay here. Why? Because it’s worth it. This issue explores some of the friction between groups. It also highlights some of the greatness that comes from such a competitive world, the music, the art, the fashion.
