Empire is or was a very small parish about an hour south of New Orleans. During my adventure to Alaska I ended up staying in Empire for about three weeks. I helped a local rebuild his property and in turn had a boat to crash in. I would work and shoot all day. It was hot as HELL and totally demolished by Katrina.
