Born in Catanzaro, Italy in 1962, where he currently lives and works, Claudio Parentela is an illustrator, painter, photographer, cartoonist, collagist, and journalist. He has been involved in the international underground art scene for several years and has contributed to a wide variety of projects including gallery shows, death metal bands’ album covers, poetry, ‘zines, and contemporary art.  His obscure work can be found in Italy and around the world.
