The Me Issue, Issue II New Yorkers are self-proclaimed self-absorbed people. We are all in it for Me. We share a tiny space of land with about 19 million other people, and it’s a ruthless place to survive. But we also find that there is a huge sense of community around us, nobody makes it here without a little help from friends.
